Return & Refund Policy

We want you to love your Factory of Sight for Glasses purchase. If something isn’t right, this policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds work for orders placed on factoryofsight.com.

Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible, items must be:

  • Unworn and unused, with all tags attached

  • In the original branded packaging, including any accessories, cases, microfiber cloths, and inserts

  • With protective films/seals on lenses and temples intact (where applicable)

  • Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase

Items sent back without a prior return authorization will not be accepted.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene, safety, and customization reasons, the following cannot be returned:

  • Prescription lenses, custom or made-to-order items, engravings, or personalized products

  • Final sale/markdown items and gift cards

  • Opened lens-care kits, cleaning solutions, or other personal-care items

  • Items showing signs of wear, adjustment, or alteration

If you’re unsure about a specific item, contact us before initiating a return.

Damages & Order Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us within 48 hours if:

  • The item is defective or damaged, or

  • You received the wrong item

Email info@factoryofsight.com with your order number, a brief description, and clear photos of the product, packaging, and shipping label so we can evaluate and make it right.

How to Start a Return

  1. Email info@factoryofsight.com with your order number and reason for return (and photos if applicable).

  2. If approved, we’ll send return instructions (and, where applicable, a return label or pickup arrangement).

  3. Pack items securely in the original packaging.

  4. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is confirmed defective or incorrect.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get a different color or model is to return the item and place a new order once your return is approved.
(Where available in the UAE, we may offer a direct one-time exchange; our team will advise during your return request.)

Refunds

We’ll notify you once your return is received and inspected.
If approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Your bank or card provider may need additional time to post the refund.

Cash on Delivery (COD) orders: refunds are issued as store credit or bank transfer (we’ll request your details).
If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund approval notice, contact info@factoryofsight.com.

International Returns

We ship worldwide; however:

  • Return shipping, duties, taxes, and customs fees are not refundable

  • Mark returns as “Returned Merchandise” to avoid additional import charges

  • Use a trackable service; we aren’t responsible for returns lost in transit
